Heating Repair and Service

Heating systems are not used as much as air conditioning systems in the Houston area. This is due primarily to a predominantly warm climate that we experience here. Consequently, we really don't know what shape our heating systems are in until we try to use them. But, when a Blue Northern blows in and you really need your heating system, then you want it to be safe, dependable, efficient, and working to warm you and your family on those cold winter nights.

Heating systems like your AC system, need to be maintained and serviced on a consistent basis. The first step to maintaining your heating system is to change your filters on a regular basis (usually at least once a month). The second step is to have your heating system run through a maintenance system check-up and cleaned if necessary by a Quality Comfort Air qualified technician.

Gas Furnaces

An older gas furnace can have rust blocking the burners. This blockage can cause the furnace to run in-efficiently and potentially be unsafe (build up of carbon monoxide).

All gas furnaces new or old should be checked for gas and carbon monoxide leaks. All safety points should be checked for proper operation. The gas exhaust vent pipe should be checked for proper ventilation and cleanliness. This will prevent untimely break-downs and insure that you and your family receive safe, warm, and clean air from your furnace.
